Most applications here come from [helmforge](https://repo.helmforge.dev). The
repository tracks its applications, so a chart that falls behind upstream counts as a
bug rather than a fork to maintain.

The chart doing the most work is `generic`. Self-hosted projects usually ship a
container image and a compose file; with `generic` you write values instead of a
`Deployment`, and every application shares one deployment shape. A fix to probe
handling or a security context lands everywhere at once.

Its values are validated against a JSON schema, which catches mistakes before Helm
renders anything. This site's own release failed its first install because of a
`containerPort` key the schema does not allow. The schema was right, the manifest was
wrong.
